アメリカの中学生との交流③
アメリカの中学生（バージニア州サウスカウンティ中学校）とのプロジェクト
目白研心中学2年生は、英語（ACE）の授業でアメリカの中学生との交流をしています。
海外の学校の生徒とのプロジェクトを通して、グローバルな視野を広げ、多角的な視野を身につけています。
冬休みに入る前にサウスカウンティ中学校の生徒から、目白研心の生徒が贈った手作りのお箸のお礼として、クリスマスカードとプレゼント（鉛筆とブレスレット）が届きました。
目白研心の生徒たちからは、日本のお正月の過ごし方について書いたカードを送る予定です。
このプロジェクトを通して、互いの文化や行事の過ごし方について理解を深めることができました。
【サウスカウンティ生徒からのメッセージ】
・目白研心の生徒との交流を通して、多くのことを学びました。初めて日本にペンフレンド ができました。アメリカと日本の共通点と違いについて知ることができて感謝しています。
・美術の授業で制作したお箸を贈って下さって有難うございました。食事の時に使うのが楽しみです。
・お箸と手紙を頂き、笑顔になりました。私たちには共通することが多くあると思います。私も絵を描くのが大好きです。
Global Classroom Project (Mejiro Kenshin and South County Middle School, Virginia)
Mejiro Kenshin students were excited to receive Christmas cards and presents from South County Middle School before their winter break.
They really appreciated reading the cards and getting to know how students spend their winter holidays in the United States.
Mejiro Kenshin students will write back about how they spent their New Year's holidays in January.
The joint project has allowed students to have the opportunity to learn about each other's culture and holidays.

・This exchange has changed a lot of things. Having a Japanese pen pal is something I've never had a chance to do before. I want to thank you for this wonderful opportunity to share the similarities and differences between America and Japan with a new friend.
・Thank you so much for the chopsticks. I thought it was so cool that you made them in your art class.
・I felt so happy when I got your chopsticks and letter. You made me smile. I also noticed that we have a lot of things in common. I also really love to draw!
