【ホストファミリーと過ごす休日】（生徒A.Y.より）
休日に、ホストファミリーが私たちをBBQに連れて行ってくれました。海沿いの場所でBBQをしましたが、そこには沢山の人達が集まり、とても賑やかな時間を過ごせました。また、景色がとても綺麗で、夕日を見るのに絶好の場所でした。BBQをしたり、海で夕日を見たりするうちに、他の国の留学生との距離が一気に縮まった気がします！また、沢山の人と英語で会話することで英語力も少し上がったのではないかと感じています。
On a holiday, my host family took us to a BBQ. A lot of people gathered at the BBQ place by the sea, and it was a very lively time. The view from there was very beautiful, and it was a great place to watch the sunset. I feel like I suddenly got much closer to the international students from other countries while having a BBQ and watching the sunset by the sea! Also, I feel like my English skills have improved a little by talking with many people in English.
【休日の過ごし方】（生徒An.N.より）
土曜日にダウンタウン・バンクーバーにあるカフェに行きました。そこには色々なメニューがあり、その中に私の大好物のアサイーボウルもありました。何を頼むか迷っているときに、店員さんが「焦らないでいいよ。」などと優しい言葉をかけてくれて、とてもホッとしました。
On Saturday, I went to a cafe in Downtown Vancouver. There were many different menus, including my favorite, the acai bowl. When I was wondering what to order, the waiter said to me kindly, "Don't worry." I felt very relieved.
