Karen Symonds of Delta School District Visits Mejiro Kenshin
On May 22, Mejiro was delighted to welcome Ms. Karen Symonds, director of international student programs in Delta, British Columbia. Mejiro will send 17 third-year junior high school students from the SEC class to study and experience family life in Canada for 3 weeks this summer. In August, 2 high school students will study at a high school in Delta for 5 months.
Ms. Symonds was kind of enough to make time to meet and talk with all the students going this year. She also had the opportunity to chat with one of the students who studied in Delta last year. Everyone was happy to talk with Ms. Symonds, and the students going this year look forward to meeting her again in Canada.
