Today was my first day off since arriving in Canada. I visited a Walmart, a store that's a mix of a hardware store and a supermarket, which is close to my host family's house. It seemed like a place where you could buy anything you needed, and I thought I could find everything I was missing there.Furthermore, today I introduced origami, one of Japan's cultural practices, to my host family. We folded cranes together, and I helped them with the difficult parts, and we were able to make them successfully.
今日はカナダに来て初めての休日でした。僕はホストファミリーの家から近いウォールマートとというホームセンターとスーパーマーケットが混ざったようなところを訪れました。そこではあらゆるものが買えるようなところで足りないものは全部揃いそうだと思いました。更に今日はホストファミリーに日本文化の一つ折り紙を紹介しました。一緒に鶴を折り、難しいところは自分が手伝い無事作ることができました。
