【ニュージーランド】タカプナグラマースクールより - Ellie -
Japan has been really incredible so far, I could not have asked for a better host family and school! I was pretty nervous when I first arrived here, but my classmates, teachers and host family have made me feel so at home. I don't have the opportunity to get homesick! My Japanese isn't very good, so I am thankful that everyone is so understanding and friendly. Mejiro Kenshin is quite different in comparison to my school in New Zealand, but it's such an interesting and fun experience that I'm really grateful for.
The International Culture Club held a welcoming party for me, which was such an interesting and fun experience that I won't forget! We all took turns to introduce ourselves then played games. We were even given chocolate as a special treat at the end, which was a nice surprise.

日本での生活はとてもすばらしく、ホームステイ、学校どちらも楽しんでいます。来日当初はとても不安でたまりませんでしたが、クラスメイト、先生、そしてホストファミリーがやさしく接してくれました。ですから全然ホームシックになりません！私は日本語がそんなに上手ではないから、みんなが私を理解して、やさしくしてくれることに感謝しています。目白研心は私のニュージーランドの学校と大きく違いますが、こんなに興味深く楽しい経験をしていることをうれしく思います。
国際文化部が、私のためにウェルカムパーティーを開いてくれましたが、この楽しい経験は忘れません。お互いに紹介し合い、ゲームをしました。最後にみんなはおやつにチョコレートをもらいましたが、これはうれしいサプライズでした。
