【ニュージーランド】タカプナグラマースクールより - A.T -
ニュージーランドに来てから、二週間が経ちました。
今、ニュージーランドは冬なので、私は毎日コートを着て学校へ行っています。
学校では、現地の生徒だけではなく、たくさんの留学生とも友達になることができました。
最近は、ホストシスターを含めた１０名の中国人と私で、鍋パーティーをしました。
母国語が英語ではない友人と、英語でコミュニケーションをとることはとても難しいですが、同時に世界共通の言語である英語の大切さを実感できます。また、英語を使って相手の母国語を習ったり、日本語を教えるのは本当に楽しいです。
私のホストファミリーは本当に優しいです。ホストブラザーやシスターは学校の宿題や授業中理解できなかったところを丁寧に教えてくれます。ホストファザー・マザーは、毎日たくさん話しかけてくれ、間違えたアクセントなどを優しく指摘してくれるので、留学したことによって英語を話すことが、以前より楽しいと思えるようになりました。
先週は、温泉で有名なロトルアへ旅行に連れて行ってもらいました。ホストファミリーと、ニュージーランドの満天の星空の下で温泉に入ったことは一生の思い出です。また、マオリの伝統的なハカのショーを見たり、ニュージーランドでしか体験できないことをすることができて良かったです。
残りの二か月間、今後の自分に活かせるように、よりたくさんのことを学び、吸収していきたいです。

Three weeks have passed since I arrived in New Zealand. Now, New Zealand's season is winter, therefore I wear a coat every day when I go to school.
At school, I was able to make a lot of friends who are not only New Zealanders, but also students from other countries. I held a party with ten Chinese friends two weeks ago. It was very fun.
It is so hard to talk with non-native speakers of English, but at the same time I can feel that English is important. Also, we are teaching each other our mother tongues.
My host family is very kind to me. When I went to their house on first day, they told me, "This house is your home. We are family." It made me relax.
I went to Rotorua with my host family last week. I will never forget that I went to a hot spring with them under the stars of New Zealand. Also, I saw a traditional Maori stage. I had studied about it in school so I could easy understand it.
With two months left, I want to study English and everything else more so when I go back to Japan, I will be able to use my experiences.
