【カナダ】デルビュー・セカンダリーより - S.S -
カナダに到着して3週間ほど経ちました。この3週間は英語だけの生活に慣れることに必死で、あっという間に過ぎてしまいました。けれど、たくさん友達ができていろいろな発見がありました。
私が通う、デルビューセカンダリースクールには約740人の生徒が通っています。そして、他国から多くの留学生がいて、グローバルな環境で学ぶことができます。目白研心との相違点が沢山ありました。
1日授業は４時間で、1コマ80分です。2パターンの時間割をDAY1、DAY2にわけ、毎日交互に繰り返しています。授業は生徒が自ら選択することができ、日本の学校では体験できないような勉強ができます。例えば、メディアアート、アニメーション、料理、プランニング、エンジニアリング、フィットネス、ギターなどがあります。専門的なことまで学べて、生徒が将来的に選択肢の豊富な生活を送れるだろうと思いました。
カナダは自然が豊富で、夜は星が綺麗に見えます。私はカヌーを体験しました。ずっと漕ぐのは疲れるけど、とても楽しいです。

It has been 3 weeks since I came to Canada. These 3 weeks have passed quickly because being able to use only English has been hard for me. However, I could make many friends and discovery many things.
There are about 740 students at Delview Secondary School. A lot of international students come from different countries, so we can learn in a global environment. I found there are many differences with my school.
We have 4 classes a day. Each class is 80 minutes. We have 2 class schedules, and we repeat those class schedules in turn every day. Students can choose their own classes. And we can take classes that we cannot take in Japan like mass-media art, animation, food, planning, engineering, fitness, guitar and so on. We can take specialized classes so I thought that students here have many choices in their future.
There is a lot of nature in Canada. And we can see many beautiful stars at night. I tried canoeing. It was often hard to move the boat, but I really enjoyed it!
