【オーストラリア】留学レポート - R.K. -
オーストラリアに着いてから約1ヶ月が過ぎました。こっちの暮らしにも少しずつ慣れて楽しく過ごせています。クラブ活動が始まって、バレーを週2でしています。チームメイトがみんな優しくてとても馴染みやすかったです。サーブの時やミスしてしまった時など、必ず応援や励ましがあってとてもいいチームです。学校では現地の友達も徐々にできて、一緒に移動教室にいったり昼ご飯を一緒に食べています。時々会話に詰まることもありますが、丁寧に教えてくれることで会話が楽しくできています。趣味などの共通点がある子と話しているときが特に会話が弾むので仲良くなるきっかけになっています。
家ではホストマザーと一緒によく話しています。最近は寝る前までリビングにいて一緒に英語字幕のある洋画を見て過ごしています。また、ワンちゃんのお散歩を毎日1時間ほどしています。休日は友達と出かけて遊んだり、ホストマザーとショッピングをしています。友達とは海にいったりモールに行ったりしています。本当にオーストラリアのビーチはとても綺麗で自然がより感じられる場所だと感じました。また、ここの人たちはすごい親切で写真を撮ってくれたり、褒めてくれてすごいフランクに話しかけてくれる人が多いので嬉しいです。日本ではあまりそういうのを感じたことがないので、こういう文化がとてもいいなと思いました。
来週は休日に現地の子と遊ぶ約束をして、今後も楽しい毎日がいっぱいです。日本に帰った時に悔いなくすごい楽しい留学生活だったなと思えるように今後の留学ライフを大切に過ごしていきたいです。

It has been about one month since I arrived in Australia. I am slowly getting used to life here, and I am enjoying it.
My club activities started, and I play volleyball twice a week. My teammates are very kind, so it was easy for me to feel comfortable in the team. When I serve or make a mistake, they always cheer for me and encourage me. I think it is a very good team.
At school, I have started to make some local friends. We go to different classrooms together and eat lunch together. Sometimes I cannot think of the right words in English, but they kindly teach me, so talking with them is fun. I especially enjoy talking with friends who have the same hobbies as me, and it helps us become closer.
At home, I often talk with my host mother. Recently, I stay in the living room until bedtime and watch movies with English subtitles with her. I also walk the dog every day for about one hour.
On weekends, I go out with my friends or go shopping with my host mother. I have gone to the beach and the mall with my friends. The beaches in Australia are very beautiful, and I feel a lot of nature there.
People here are very kind. Sometimes they take photos for us or say nice things to us. Many people talk to us in a friendly way, and it makes me happy. I did not feel this kind of culture very much in Japan, so I think it is very nice.
Next week, I will hang out with a local friend on the weekend. I think I will have many more fun days in the future. I want to enjoy my study abroad life and make many good memories before I go back to Japan.
