【ニュージーランド】エイボンサイドガールズハイスクールより - N.F. -
ニュージーランドに来てから1ヶ月が過ぎました。最初は英語が聞き取れず、会話をするのがとても大変でした。しかし、ホストファミリーの方々が聞き取りやすいように話してくれたり、私自身も積極的に自分の思っていることを伝えようとするようになりました。
現地の学校には留学生が多く、オリエンテーションではたくさんの友達を作ることができました。また、授業には日本の高校ではあまり見ないようなものがたくさんあります。私はドラマのクラスを選択しているのですが、授業の中で現地の生徒たちとコミュニケーションを取ることがとても楽しいです。
最初は不安もありましたが、今では楽しく過ごすことができています。残り約1ヶ月の留学生活も大切に過ごしていきたいです。

I've been in New Zealand for about a month now. At first, it was very difficult for me to have conversations in English because I couldn't understand what people were saying. However, my host family spoke in a way that was easier for me to understand, and I also started trying to express my thoughts more actively.
There are many international students at my school, so I was able to make many friends during the orientation. Also, there are many kinds of classes that we usually do not see in Japanese high schools. I chose a drama class, and it is very fun to communicate with local students during the lessons.
At first, I felt nervous, but now I am enjoying my life here. I want to make the most of the remaining month of my stay.
