【カナダ】サンズ・セカンダリーより - H.S -
カナダに来て早9ヶ月が経ち、私の残りの留学生活も残す所あと一ヶ月となりました。このように10ヶ月という限られた時間を過ごすと、過ぎゆく時間の大切さを改めて実感することができます。カナダに留学をしていなければ決して出会うはずのない様々な国からの留学生との交流、日本とは少し感じの違う授業の雰囲気、街並み、食事、などなど全てがとても新鮮でした。
もちろん全てが全て良い記憶だったとは言えません。授業で先生が言っている事が分からず、テストで散々な点数をもらったときは愕然としましたし、友達の言いたい事が分からず分かったふりをして頷いた時は自分が情けなくなりました。しかし、こうして過去9ヶ月を振り返ってみると、辛い思い出こそ自分の強みになるのだと思います。
ここで学んだことを日本に帰国してからも活かします。
これからは、英語をさらに頑張り、違う国の人々と話せるようになりたいです。
私はこんなにも楽しく日々を過ごせるカナダがとても好きになりました。

Nine months have passed since I came to Canada. My life in Canada will be over in a month. Today, I am going to look back on my precious memories.
I could be friends with the students who came from foreign countries and I could experience differences in atmosphere between Japanese schools and the Canadian schools. Needless to say, I also have the memories that were not so good. I have two examples. The first one is I could not understand what my teacher said during the class. Therefore, I received a terrible mark on the test and I felt like a fool. The second and last example is when my friend said something to me in English. I nodded to her to pretend I could understand what she was saying, but to tell the truth, I did not understand what she said. How embarrassing it was! But I know that these hardships made me stronger, so when I go back to Japan, I am going to turn my experiences to my advantage.
