【ニュージーランド】エイボンサイドガールズハイスクールより - K.M. -
ニュージーランドに来てから一ヶ月経ちました。ホストファミリーは私を含め7人家族です。子供達4人が全員元気で、私は3人家族なので賑やかな雰囲気がとても新鮮です。折り紙とあやとりを持って行ったら子供達がとても喜んでくれて嬉しいです。学校では日本の友達もでき、現地の友達も作れていて学校が楽しいです。授業では先生の話が難しく早いので聞き取るのを頑張っています。家では、家電の使い方も覚えてきているのでホストファミリーの手伝いを頑張ります。家には多くの楽器が揃っていて、教会でのバンド練習に人が来ることもあり、音楽に触れる機会がとても多く楽しいです。毎週日曜日は教会に行きます。学校でのテカポ湖やマザーたちとのカイコウラなどへのプチ週末旅行などもあり、大自然を感じられてとても幸せです。

It's been one month since I arrived in New Zealand. My host family has seven people, including myself. All four children are energetic. My family has three people, so the lively atmosphere is refreshing for me. I was happy that the children were so pleased when I brought origami and string figures. At school, I made both Japanese and local friends, and I'm enjoying school. In class, the teachers speak quickly, and it's difficult, so I'm trying my best to listen. At home, I'm learning how to use household appliances, so I'm trying my best to help with housework. There are many musical instruments at home, and people sometimes come to practice the band at church, so I have many opportunities to experience music, and it's fun. We go to church every Sunday. We also have short weekend trips with the school to places like Lake Tekapo and Kaikoura with the mothers, and I'm very happy to be able to feel nature.
