When school started, I was very surprised that, unlike schools in Japan, I didn't have the same classmates all the time. I was worried about I couldn't keep up with the classes, but I have been working to understand the lessons by doing group work with my friends.
I took a psychology class, but the teacher spoke very fast, so it was difficult for me to understand what she was saying.
In math I taking a class which focused on word problems and I often making mistakes I wanted to change that more calculation practice but I couldn't change the course because class schedule and a number of students in each class and i have gotten used to school and I can understand the class a little better by reviewing what i learned and doing what I need to do.
I have also become friends with local students. After school I played with them and we talked on instagram and Snapchat; I also go shopping and eat outside.
With other international students, since it's volleyball and soccer season, I joined both clubs. We lost badly but it was a very good experience because I was able to communicate with my teammates during the games. The season is still going on; I will continue to do my best
I get stuck when speaking English, and when I don't understand what I am saying, I will continue practicing speaking English and studying so that I can communicate better.
